Smoothie Kits with Stahlbush

Delicious, Healthy & Fast

Smoothies are a great way to pack some extra fruit and vegetables in the morning without slowing you down! But even though they are the ultimate meal on the go, it can take a while to prep everything you need. Smoothie kits are a great way around this! You can do one each night for the next day or prep a bunch at one time to make sure you have everything you need to keep yourself full until lunch and a little extra time to sleep in!

Step 1: Prepare your bags

First, you’ll want to grab some reuable freezer bags, then write on the front of the bag the name of the smoothie recipe, and what else needs to go in it, such as additional yogurt, nut milks, juices, or other liquids. Also note any powder add-ins and how much of each. Be sure and include the date you made the bag!

Step 2: Fill the Bags

Next, add to your bags whatever fruit or veggie amounts your recipe calls for. Measure out the frozen fruit and veggies. For recipes that call for spinach or kale, keep in mind that frozen varities can contain more water, but you can freeze fresh with no issues, or just make a note to add it later.

Step 3: Store the bags

Stick your bags in the freezer and pull them out when you’re ready to make your smoothie!

Freeze-Ahead Smoothie Recipes:

Peach-Raspberry

1/2 cup sliced peaches

1/2 cup sliced Stahlbush raspberries

1/2 cup frozen Stahlbush Cool Cauliflower

1 cup coconut water/any kind of milk

PB& J Smoothie

1 sliced banana

1/2 cup pitted cherries

1/2 hulled Stahlbush strawberries

1 tablespoon of nut butter

1 cup coconut water/any kind of milk

Blueberry Smoothie

1 ½ cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk or your choice of milk

1 ½ cups Stahlbush blueberries

1 sliced banana

1 cup fresh spinach

½ tsp pure vanilla extract

1 TBS honey (or maple syrup for vegan)

2 TBS vanilla protein powder (optional)

Blueberry-Strawberry Smoothie

3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 cup frozen strawberries about 10 medium/large berries

1/2 cup frozen Stahlbush blueberries

1 5-ounce container nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt

¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Optional additions: a scoop of protein powder
