Butternut Squash

Adding butternut squash to soups, stews, and casseroles adds nutrition and taste to your favorite meals! Butternut squash adds fiber, potassium, vitamins A and C, manganese, folate, iron, and zinc. It’s delicious and nutritious, but it can be hard to peel and slice. We take the time and effort out of preparation by cleaning, blanching, and cubing it, then individually quick-freezing the pieces for the best flavor profile. Stahlbush takes the hard work out of cooking meals.  Our job is to make eating healthy effortless.

Great Ways to Enjoy

  • Pour frozen butternut squash into a 9˝x 9˝ baking dish. Sprinkle with 2 Tbsp. brown sugar and 1 Tbsp. butter. Bake at 350˚F for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with olive oil, salt, pepper and fresh thyme. Bake at 350˚F for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Delicious in soups and stews.
