Cauliflower’s subtle nutty flavor and satisfying crunch made it a favorite among France’s royal court in the late 1800′s.  Cauliflower is milky, white and quickly becoming a favorite substitute for heavy starches like potatoes, tabouli, rice and even flour.  Try using it in place of mashed potatoes or served as a simple ingredient in a creamy soup.
The Willamette Valley is home to all four of the seasons. We have chilly winter days, blooming spring flowers, gorgeous sunny summer afternoons and all of the warm colors of fall. Autumn Glory is my tribute to the dramatic changes we see in the trees and greenery around the farm that mark the beginning of the fall harvest.
