Linus Pauling Strawberry Tasting

Stahlbush Island Farms recently donated 300 pounds of our frozen strawberries to the Corvallis Environmental Center.  The center sets up tasting tables in our school district.  The berries were paired with yogurt, also sourced locally.  It was distributed at lunch for free to 11 different schools.  Here are some photos from the Linus Pauling Middle School in Corvallis, Oregon.

Supporting farm to school programs is a core mission for Stahlbush Island Farms.  The obesity epidemic sweeping the nation is avoidable with proper education and access to healthy foods.  We are proud to donate our healthy products and support farm to school programs in our local community.  After all, healthy foods taste SO GOOD!
